Avon Youth Football is happy to launch registration for the 2024 season. The Winter Skills camp starts Sunday March 3rd, and I am sure everybody is excited to plan out their football year. We moved to a new platform in 2022 and will continue using League Apps for all registration. Below is a schedule of this seasons Camps run by Coach Elder as well as Fall Youth Football 2024. Below each camp has a link below to follow to register (press CTRL and click the link). You should download the League Apps App to help manage all your players activities.

Avon Football Winter Skills Camp
What: This four-week winter skills camp will be on Sundays only. Conducted by Coach Elder, his varsity staff, and varsity players. The objective of this camp is to introduce basic football skills to Avon’s youth and to expose different techniques and fundamentals. All campers will receive a t-shirt. Please bring a water bottle.

When: Sundays, March 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th

Avon Football Spring Flag Season
Spring Flag Football – Season 8
This four week spring league will be on Sundays only (no additional weekday practices). The Avon Football Coaches and players will conduct a 15 minute skill/warmup session before two 20 minute continuous clock games. Athletes currently in grades 3rd – 6th will receive an Avon Football Helmet. Mouthguards are required for 3rd – 6th grade.
Registration deadline is Wednesday April 10th

4:00 – 5:00; 5th – 6th Grade & Kindergarten at Avon Early Learning Center

Avon Youth Football Camp
What: This four day Youth Football Camp will be conducted by Coach Elder, Avon Varsity Assistants, and Varsity Football Players. Campers receive instruction in all positions, compete in daily skill competitions, and conclude with competitive touch football games.
Registration deadline is Friday May 31st.
Who: Boys & Girls entering grades K – 6th for the 2024 – 2025 Academic School Year
When: June 3rd – 6th from 10:30am – 12pm

Avon Football Summer Skills Camp
What: This camp will help youth athletes sharpen their skills as they work on technique and fundamentals in a position specific setting. Participants will be able to pick an offensive and defensive position to learn and develop throughout the four days. This camp will be instructed by Coach Elder and his Varsity Football Staff. All participants will receive a t-shirt.
Registration deadline is Friday June 21st

Who: Boys & Girls who are entering Kindergarten in the Fall 2024
Date: August 24th – October 19th
Game Times: Games Scheduled for Saturday
Description: The Flag Football season will begin Saturday August 24th Coach Elder has 1st day camp on the High School turf @12:30 – 2:00pm.
Games will begin Saturday September 7th always on Saturdays at Vets. Coaches plan 1 practice per week.
All participants will receive a game Jersey. Mouth Pieces & Spikes suggested.
Location: Mark Wahlberg Stadium 1st day only. Games at Veterans Park, Avon.
Registration deadline is August 1st.

Who: Boys & Girls who are entering 3rd & 4th Grade in the Fall 2024
Date: July 29th – October 26th 7 weeks of games plus 1 – 3 Playoff Games.
Game Times: Games Scheduled for Saturday
Practice will be Monday & Wednesday
Description: Padded Flag is the next step in progression towards tackle football. Players will be in full uniform but will still use flags instead of tackling.
Practice will begin 7/29/24. The Padded Flag Football season’s first game will be 8/24/24.
We have welcomed new communities Amherst, North Ridgeville, Midview & Buckeye.
Along with Rocky River & Independence we should have a great season.
You will need to purchase black football pants, practice Jersey, mouthpiece and spikes are recommended.
